User Experience Design Certificate Project
As part of the User Experience Design Certificate from eCornell, I undertook a comprehensive project aimed at improving the problem space I identified for cheer coaches. The project involved the following key activities:
User Research: Conducted extensive user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of the target audience. This included surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
Persona Development: Created detailed user personas based on research findings to guide the design process and ensure that the solutions were user-centric.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Developed wireframes and interactive prototypes using Balsamiq and Figma to visualize the design solutions. These prototypes were iteratively refined based on user feedback.
Usability Testing: Conducted usability testing with real users to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Design Iteration: Applied feedback from usability testing to iterate on the designs, ensuring they were intuitive, engaging, and met the users' needs.
Final Deliverables: Delivered a set of high-fidelity prototypes and a comprehensive design report outlining the research findings, design process, and final solutions.
This project demonstrated my ability to apply user-centered design principles to create effective and user-friendly digital experiences. It also honed my skills in research, prototyping, testing, and iterating on design solutions.
